Resto In sold to GeoPost

Cambon Partners carries out its fifth transaction with Resto-In with its sale to La Poste group

Resto-In is the main European player in the online food delivery sector with a partner list of over 1,000 mid-range and high-end establishments. Launched in 2006, the service allows businesses and individuals to order dishes listed on the menus of these restaurants and have them delivered within 45 minutes.

With a strong reputation in the online food delivery sector (marketplace combined with geolocation-based logistics) and its young and dynamic team, Resto-In has built a range of high value-added services for consumers. Financière Cambon has supported its founders throughout all of the company's development stages in Europe: fundraising with NextStage, the acquisition of Resto Presto in Belgium, Bloomsburys in Germany, and Baguise in Spain.

This transaction underscores Cambon Partners' expertise in e-commerce (sale of the online crowdfunding site LePotCommun.fr to BPCE Group, sale of Allopneus.com to Michelin, merger of Private Outlet with Brandalley, fundraising for Showroomprive.com with Accel Partners...).

Michael Azencot, partner at Cambon Partners : "We were delighted to support the founders and shareholders of Resto-In throughout this process. This transaction generated a lot of interest from the pure players in the online food market, but the La Poste Group's desire to expand into the e-commerce food market won the support of all of the shareholders."
