Being an investment banker is a combination of listening skills, deep sector understanding, technical expertise, creativity and conviction to best serve clients facing important decisions. This variety of situations and challenges to solve, and my interest for advisory roles, were a motivation to choose this path after scientific studies.
After a stint in audit I spent more than 15 years in London at UBS and Bank of America. I had the opportunity in these banks to work on many M&A and capital raising transactions for large corporates and financial sponsors, in a very international environment.
I have been since the start of my career specialised on the financial institutions sector and all its verticals (insurance, banking, asset management, distribution, speciality finance, fintech). This is a fascinating sector and I was in a great position to witness its profound transformations over the years in the face of numerous economic, regulatory and technological challenges. Today more than ever innovation is very important and development opportunities are numerous for the most agile companies. M&A and access to capital can be key levers to seize them.
In 2023 I decided to join Cambon Partners, having found shared values in Cambon’s focus on excellence, independence and tailored advice. These are key ingredients for me to make a difference for clients and live up to their trust. I am glad to bring in this team my sector and international experience to our client entrepreneurs, managers and investors, and work to make Cambon the reference bank for fast growth companies.
