My interest in real estate, and especially in the hospitality sector, has developed progressively through my professional experiences, driven by a strong interest in financial roles that are hands-on, demanding, and closely connected to operational realities.
My first exposure to the real estate sector during my private equity internship at a family office specializing in real estate was a decisive moment. I found it to be a tangible and intellectually stimulating field, at the intersection of investment, strategy, and execution.
This growing interest led me to join the Real Estate & Hotels M&A team at KPMG Corporate Finance, where I spent three years advising entrepreneurs, investors, and large corporate groups on capital transactions and financing operations. Over this period, I developed a nuanced understanding of a distinctive sector in which each asset class follows its own specific dynamics.
Within this broader landscape, hospitality holds a unique place. It is a segment where the value of an asset is closely linked to the quality of its operations, its positioning, and the experience it offers.
Joining Cambon Partners was therefore a natural next step in this journey. The opportunity to contribute to the development of the hospitality and real estate practice, within a firm with a strong entrepreneurial culture and in close proximity to leadership teams, fully aligns with what I am looking for today.
