Cafeyn acquires Milibris

The leading information streaming platform, acquires miLibris from Altice

Cafeyn (ex-LeKiosk) closes its first acquisition with the ambition to accelerate growth both organically and through targeted acquisitions. The addition of miLibris teams and technologies will further strengthen the value proposition offered to publishers to foster their digital transformation.

Acquired by Altice in 2017, miLibris is a software platform enabling publishers to digitalize, enrich, distribute and monetize their content and thus facilitate their digital self-distribution strategy. It also addresses players willing to monetize their large audience to become distributors of third-party written contents. miLibris offers its technical solutions of content digitalisation to 100+ magazine, newspaper and book publishers such as Les Echos, Le Figaro, L’Equipe, Bayard or companies such as SFR and Air France.

Through this acquisition, Cafeyn accesses complementary technological assets, a portfolio of new media clients and widens its range of services to publishers allowing them to directly distribute their content. miLibris also brings its international customers, in particular through its subsidiary in Canada.

Founded in 2006, Cafeyn has become the reference information streaming platform by offering thousands of premium titles, news and magazines, on all digital devices with the best reading experience in the market. Cafeyn is available in France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and French-speaking African countries and aims to continue to accelerate its international expansion.

Drawing on its accumulated expertise and a network of 500+ publishers and strategic distribution partners (telecom operators, pay-TV, e-commerce platforms, etc.), Cafeyn intends to reinforce its leadership on the promising information streaming vertical, by further investing in product innovation and pursuing the company’s growth strategy in France and internationally including by seizing new consolidation opportunities.
