France's leading luxury catamaran cruiser opens a new chapter with Montefiore Investment & BPI France

Catlante Catamarans, France's leading provider of top-of-the-range catamaran cabin cruises, is entering a new phase of acceleration, with a change of management and the entry into the capital of two investment funds specializing in tourism.

Founded in 2003 by Jean-Pascal Siméon and Fred Talvard, the company has become a leader in high-end cabin cruises, operating in Corsica, the Grenadines and the Seychelles. Today, the company has a fleet of 16 boats and sales of nearly €15m. After 20 years, founder Jean-Pascal Siméon is handing over the reins.

Hervé Bellaiche, former Deputy Managing Director of PONANT, takes over as Chairman. Frédéric Talvard is appointed Chief Operating Officer. This new chapter will be supported by Montefiore Investment, through Fonds Nov Tourisme Relance Durable and Bpifrance, via its France Investissement Tourisme 3 (FIT3) Fund : two renowned players in the tourism industry. This union will strengthen the Company's leadership position, accentuate its reputation for excellence and give new impetus to its expansion, with an even greater environmental and social conscience. The company announces its intention to rapidly accelerate the size of its fleet and its development in France, Belgium and Switzerland.
