LeCab sold to SnapCar

The new group is positionning itself as the VTC reference actor for B2B

LeCab is the pioneer of VTC services in France, having launched in 2012 in Paris. The service is praised by hundreds of thousands of private and professional passengers, who enjoy fixed fares from the moment of booking, premium service, experience and professionalism of their drivers.

This operation allows LeCab to take another major step in its development. The whole is the largest VTC actor which is 100% French. Its clientele includes 44% of the companies in the CAC 40, 41% of the companies in the SBF 120, many major public sector accounts including SNCF, La Poste, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, INSEP, the Rectorates in Ile-de-France and more than 5,000 mid-sized companies.

The two companies, who cater mainly to companies and their employees, customers or guests "wishing to travel with serenity" have managed to maintain a “premium” quality of service " recognized in the VTC sector, which is marked by a significant general deterioration in service.

SnapCar brings a unique experience in travel management and a technological know-how appreciated by business travelers and their assistants (multi-channel booking, compliance with the company's travel policy, multiple payment methods, etc.), but also by the drivers (trip planning, instant payment...).

Yves Weisselberger - Chairman and co-founder - and Hervé Fauvin - shareholder and CEO of SnapCar will lead the new group.
