Medadom investment from G Square

Medadom completes a €40m Series‑A with G‑Square, UK‑based leading healthcare private equity investor in Europe

Medadom, a major telemedicine player, secured a €40m Series-A round with G-Square, dedicated pan-European healthcare investor. This funding, which is one of the largest French Series-A ever, will accelerate the company's mission in restoring access to healthcare to everyone in France through telemedicine.

Founded in 2017 by Charles Mimouni, Elie-Dan Mimouni, and Nathaniel Bern, Medadom is a simple telemedicine service that connects a patient with a doctor 7 days a week in less than 10 minutes, anywhere in France.

This service is accessible via an online platform or remote-connected terminals installed in pharmacies. These terminals are a true breakthrough innovation after years of R&D development to help doctors refine their diagnosis.

The company had unprecedented growth over the last 2 years with the deployment of 670 terminals and 150,000 teleconsultations realized to date. The company also reached important milestones over the last months with the acquisition of its competitor Docadom and with a strong acceleration of virtual care adoption due to the Covid-19 crisis.

This funding comes at an exciting time for Medadom to accelerate the deployment of terminals to reach 25,000 terminals by 2024.
