Assurcopro acquires Insor

The leading French insurance broker for co-owners acquires the specialist in property risk

Assurcopro, the leading French insurance broker for property co-owners acquires INSOR. This is the third operation significative of external growth for Assurcopro since the entry of investment fund Eurazeo PME, a subsidiary of Eurazeo specializing in medium-sized businesses, to its capital.

Created in 2000 by Olivier Atlan and based in Paris and London, INSOR is an insurance broker specializing in property risk. INSOR’s offer is aimed at real estate professionals with specific solutions, claims handling and management delegation in partnership with premier insurance providers.

This acquisition perfectly matches Assurcopro’s strategy, strengthening its leadership on the specialist insurance market in France by broadening its offer of complementary products and adding a physical presence in Lyon.

The director, Olivier Atlan, joins Assurcopro’s management and has invested a significant amount in the operation, seduced by the group’s ambitious project in terms of development and innovation.

The groupe Assurcopro records revenues of almost €140M with these three acquisitions, an increase of over 45% since Eurazeo PME’s entry to the company’s capital in September 2016.

Henri Combremont, President of Assurcopro, said of the operation, “The acquisition of INSOR strengthens our position and opens new markets to us. With Eurazeo PME, we will continue to pursue other ambitious projects in 2018”.

“Having developed INSOR for 15 years, I am enthusiastic to actively contribute to the growth of Assurcopro, a dynamic and innovative group,” added Olivier Atlan.
