Not So Dark investment from Kharis Capital

The dark kitchen group has raised €20 million from a pool of investors including Kharis Capital

The start-up created in 2020 by Clément Benoît, the co-founder of Stuart and Alexandre Haggai, announced that it has raised €20m from a group of investors. NotSoDark is currently in charge of 9 kitchens in Paris, Bordeaux, Nice and Barcelona, and has already generated monthly sales of €1 million after one year of trading. The group relies on strong brands developed in-house and offered on leading delivery platforms (Uber, Deliveroo, Glovo).

NotSoDark aims to open 30 dark kitchens and launch 20 new virtual brands, in addition to existing ones (Como Kitchen, Gaia, JFK Burgers, Torpedo, Street dumpling, Coquillettes, 6.00am Fried chicken, etc.).

This new funding from Kharis Capital (a leading investor in retail and food), Oscar Salazar (co-founder of Uber) and a group of seasoned entrepreneurs will enable the company to step up the pace of its rollout in France, Belgium and Spain with a mixed model - directly operated and franchised.
