The SaaS solution that supports growth of construction and building players raises €12M to strenghten its position as a SaaS leader in the building industry

Obat, a SaaS solution that supports growth of construction and building players, has closed a €12 M Series A round with Crédit Mutuel Innovation, New Alpha Asset Management, NCI and Kima Ventures, to invest in innovation and accelerate its development. Several business angels joined the deal, including Arthur Waller (Pennylane) and Christophe Courtin (Santiane).

Since its creation in 2019, Obat's mission has been to bring simplicity and peace of mind to building and construction professionals. The 100% online SaaS platform allows craftsmen to manage their quotes and invoices, their construction sites, their profit margins, and the financial health of their businesses. In 4 years, Obat has established itself as the reference in its market and has been praised by nearly 15,000 entrepreneurs, craftsmen and business leaders in France, Belgium and Switzerland.

This new funding round brings together investment funds, including Crédit Mutuel Innovation, New Alpha, NCI and Kima Ventures (in addition to the historical investors Truffle Capital, Evolem and Holnest who also participated in the round).

This Serie A funding will enable Obat to accelerate its ambition to become the SaaS reference for construction and building players. The funds will enable Obat to:
1. Open 50 new positions over the next 12 months to expand activities in sales,
customer experience, product development, and R&D
2. Expand partnerships with complementary offering to Obat, providing even
more values to its users
3. Accelerate the implementation of its product roadmap and continuously
address the operational needs of building and construction players,
4. Refine its positioning and enhance brand awareness,
5. Shorten its development timelines and enhance the collaborative aspects of
the platform.
