Merger of two major recreational rental players gives way to world's largest recreational rental platform

Yescapa and Goboony, two major players in recreational vehicle rentals, have announced their merger with the goal of revolutionizing the outdoor tourism sector. The merger will create Europe's largest recreational vehicle sharing platform, and with 30,000 vehicles available, the new entity will rank among the world's top three platforms.

Founded in 2012 and 2015 respectively, both companies share the same passion for adventure and a common vision: to provide all holidaymakers with the freedom to travel in a motorhome, van or converted van. Both companies have already made several successful acquisitions in recent years: Yescapa acquired the German company SHAREaCAMPER, the Spanish company AreaVan, and the French company locationdecampingcardeparticulier.com. Meanwhile, Goboony acquired Camptoo, a platform operating in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

The merger is just the beginning, as Yescapa and Goboony plan to expand into new countries while making nomadic travel even more accessible, particularly through an ambitious external growth strategy.

Both companies are committed to promoting sustainable travel among holidaymakers, with a strong sense of responsibility. Together, they aim to inspire the motorhome community to travel freely on Europe's most beautiful roads. In addition, Yescapa and Goboony are preparing for a new round of funding after receiving 7 million euros from IXO Private and other shareholders (No Such Ventures and MAIF Avenir) earlier this summer.
