Sequoiasoft sold to Septeo

Leading hospitality software publisher joins Septeo

MBO+, Bpifrance, BNP Développement, and the managing shareholders have sold 100% of the capital in Sequoiasoft - the leading software publisher in the hotel and restaurant sector - to Septeo. Over the past four years, Sequoiasoft’s shareholders and leaders have expanded the company's positioning in the value chain and strengthened its presence in the highly promising Spanish market.

This platform strategy was implemented through six acquisitions, as well as the organic deployment of a new innovative 100% SaaS solution (Asterio). The offering was also simplified with the migration of several legacy software packages to this proprietary solution.

Alongside this strategic acceleration, the company was restructured (especially top management and support functions) to enable effective integration of acquisitions and the creation of synergies between the Group’s various offerings. As a result, Sequoiasoft’s revenues have doubled to reach €40 million.

As part of Septeo, Sequoiasoft intends to continue consolidating its position in the European market, which is currently very fragmented. The aim is to better support hospitality players pursue their digitalization efforts and allow them to reclaim customer relationships, by offering new services, achieving productivity gains, and ultimately increasing their revenue.
