Pure Agency sold to Jouve

Digital services group Jouve acquires mobile marketing agency

Pure Agency is a mobile digital marketing agency, founded in 2008 by Christophe Léon, a former Marketing Director at Voyages-Sncf. Upon completion of a transaction process organized by Financière Cambon, Pure Agency decided to pursue its growth with a strategic buyer and was acquired by Jouve, a digital services group with 2,500 employees, which began as a printer in 1903.

Pure Agency, which employs 32 people, of which 10 are based in Serbia, helps its clients implement their mobile communication strategy, develops websites and applications and also manages its clients’ advertising campaigns. Jouve, which obtains 25% of its revenue outside of France, will give Pure Agency access to international markets.

A family-owned group, Jouve has four main business activities: digital printing, editorial services, IT services and document automation.

This acquisition enables Jouve to strengthen its position in the fast-growing mobile market, gain the skills it needs to expand its service offering, and access complementary clienteles, particularly in the tourism, commerce and distribution sectors.

Guillaume Eymar, Senior Advisor at Financière Cambon: “Pure Agency has an excellent reputation in its market segment and had already been approached by large advertising and communications companies. This encouraged the company’s management to contact us about selling the company and we started looking for buyers in September.”
