The world’s leading online platform for fine wine auctions, welcomes Capital Croissance

iDealwine, world’s leading online platform for fine wine auctions, welcomes new investor Capital Croissance.

Founded in 2000 by three wine lovers, iDealwine is a fast-growing SME and Europe’s most prominent digital auctioneer, it boasts more than over 650,000 wine lovers in 120 countries.

Individuals and professionals like to browse online and look for mature wines, forceful and ready to drink, or even sell their own collections, and they usually hide countless treasures!

iDealwine is also one of the major players in the sale of "new" wines online.

Because they wish to bring out the very best from each vineyard, the wines for sale come from more than 710 exceptional domains.

To the delight of wine lovers, the tasting team at iDealwine - always on the lookout for favourites - welcomes new wine domains year after year, especially amongst organic, biodynamic and natural wines.

Meanwhile, iDealwine offers a wide range of cellar management services to the members of its community: iDealwine wine ratings, monthly market analysis, tools to track the value of your wines in real-time, WineDex index, annual auction barometer, etc.

« We are delighted to announce our funding from Capital Croissance, which allows us to plan for iDealwine’s future growth with confidence. I look forward to bringing iDealwine’s new projects to life with the support of our talented and passionate team », a team driven by values of excellence in service of wine, those who produce it and those who share it”, said Cyrille Jomand, President of iDealwine.

The purpose of this share capital transaction is to strengthen the Group's financial resources and provide total liquidity to a number of historical financial shareholders.

The three founders, Cyrille Jomand, Angélique de Lencquesaing and Lionel Cuenca, will retain a majority stake in the Group's capital, in addition to the funds managed by Capital Croissance.

These changes in shareholder structure are designed to drive fast-growth and international expansion both in France and abroad: primarily China and the US. The goal is to strengthen iDealwine’s sourcing network and product offering.
