Homerez investment from Entrepreneur Venture, Xange

A first round of financing for the seasonal rental intermediation platform

With thousands of vacation rental owners distributed over 100 global leading sites bringing over 25,000 happy guests since its inception, HomeRez is pleased to announce a fundraising of € 4 million. HomeRez is the brainchild of three former Booking.com directors that have identified a gap in the market for a service that helps the 3 million vacation property owners across Europe maximize rentals of their holiday homes. Homerez currently boasts a 250% growth in Q1 2016 for room nights booked and a 100% increase in revenue per home rental. Homerez connects vacation rental owners to hundreds of leading vacation rentals sites across the world (including Homeaway, Airbnb, Booking.com, Tripadvisor and many more). 

The fundraising was conducted with Entrepreneur Venture, XAnge and business angels, including Nicolas Brumelot (Founder Go Voyage, Founder MisterFly), David Roche (ex President Hotels.com) Pablo Szefner (Justfab) and Frederic Halley. The funds raised will be primarily devoted to technology, international expansion and developing new services to vacation rental owners. Another part of this funding will be allocated to HomeRez’s international expansion. This is the logical next step for HomeRez, who will begin opening new offices abroad later in the coming year.
