Custeed sold to Imaweb

Imaweb (ex-Datafirst-I'Car Systems), backed by Providence Strategic Growth, completes the acquisition of Custeed

Created in 2016, software vendor Custeed (formerly GarageScore) enables professionals in the auto industry (car dealers, garages, auto centres etc.) to monitor, analyse and optimise customer satisfaction while generating qualified leads. The solution includes six products housed in the same platform that interact in real time and are marketed in SaaS mode. With a current team of almost 40 employees and more than 4,000 sites using its solution, Custeed is the market leader in France and Spain.

Imaweb, one of the main suppliers of customer relations management (CRM) solutions and dealer management systems (DMS) for the auto industry, announces the acquisition of Custeed, at the same time as two other companies (FordonsData, Midrange Solutions & Services). Imaweb is backed by investment fund Providence Strategic GrowthOlivier Guillemot, CEO of Custeed (PSG), a subsidiary of top-notch asset-management firm Providence Equity Partners.

According to Julian Ciccale, CEO of Imaweb, “The association of Custeed, FordonsData and MSS with Imaweb will allow us to create a single European window covering all the needs of brokers and original equipment manufacturers for their auto retail sales software. Our aim is to support car dealers and OEMs in their digitalisation goals and to offer a personalised omnichannel experience for customers. We are delighted to welcome the Custeed, FordonsData and MSS teams and look forward to our future collaboration”.

Since its creation following PSG’s investment in September 2019, Imaweb has successfully implemented an ambitious acquisitions strategy with more than 10 deals signed so far (TMS Soft, Stampyt, Stieger Software, Serinfer, etc.). The group aims to build a pan-European champion in software solutions for the auto industry.
