French leader in design and distribution of savings products with an underlying real estate component welcomes BlackFin Capital Partners

BlackFin Capital Partners, Europe's leading investor in the financial services sector with €2 billion of assets under management, has signed an agreement to become the majority shareholder of CIR Group, French leader in design, structuring and distribution of savings products with an underlying real estate component. BlackFin will take over from Bridgepoint Development Capital in order to support the management team led by founders François Larrère and Franck Temim in a new growth phase.

Founded in 1988, CIR Group has established itself as the independent specialist in inner-city property investment. The Group markets more than 1,250 batches per year through a network of more than 800 banking partners and asset management advisors.

Since 2017, with support from Bridgepoint, CIR Group has more than doubled in size to over €250 million in revenues by strengthening its core business and accelerating its diversification, including the integration of Agarim and partnerships with leading institutional investors.

BlackFin will become the majority shareholder of CIR Group and its subsidiaries alongside the founders, François Larrère and Franck Temim, and the management team. Their common ambition is to accelerate the Group's development in order to offer more quality products to its retail and institutional clients. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
