Cambon completes secondary LBO for Orchestra, a tourism industry SaaS platform

Over the 10 years since Orchestra was founded in 2005, it has become France’s leading on-line provider of software for the tourism industry. Its SaaS platform enables travel companies and distributors to manage, in real time, a complete leisure offering on all distribution channels (websites, call centers and travel agencies) and on all types of devices (desktop and tablet computers, smart phones and apps). Orchestra’s partners include, for example, Havas Voyages, Viajes Carrefour, Leclerc Voyages, vente-privee voyages, lastminute.com and Verychic. The company’s platform handles annual transactions worth €1 billion.

Travelsoft currently employs over 60 people in Paris and posts annual sales of about €10 million. The company plans to pursue its accelerated growth program and intends to double its sales outside of France, thus increasing their proportion from 15% currently (mainly in Spain and the U.K.) to 30%.

The deal was funded by raising new senior debt with a bank syndicate led by Société Générale and including LCL and HSBC, and additional equity capital. Moreover, the company has sufficient funds for acquisitions in Europe.

Christian Sabbagh, Travelsoft’s Chairman, had this to say: “We are happy to welcome new equity partners that will accelerate our growth strategy. This new step in our development will enable us to support the international expansion of our clients more effectively. “
